MIC’s Listen to Norway series continues with Olsenbanden jr. på rocker’n.
‘Olsenbanden’ is the Norwegian version of the popular 70s film concept of a criminal gang made up of three rather inept individuals, thus executing their every plan to a fiasco. The concept has recently been resurrected in Norway through a series of films featuring the gang as juniors. Audience numbers have been remarkable, and the young criminals have secured themselves a huge following. ‘Olsenbanden jr. på rocker’n’ is the latest – the title indicating that the gang has formed a band; a rock’n’roll set up, no less! This record is the soundtrack to the movie, featuring the actors as singers.
