Sissel has performed in front of her American audience for years. As late as in November/December, you might have seen her on TV, chanting her way through America, visiting several independent TV stations. Her first Christmas album launched in the US, Spirit of the Season, still peaks the U.S. Billboard classical music chart. Her album is now nominated for two Grammies: Best Classical Crossover Album and Best Engineered Album - Classical.

Not only is she known for having an exceptionally beautiful voice, but she is also known for her mastery of a great variety of musical genres. Sissel has performed operatic arias and centuries-old classical melodies as well as traditional folk and pop. She has sung with a variety of notables from José Carreras and Plácido Domingo, to French singer Charles Aznavour, American rapper Warren G, Richard Marx, Josh Groban, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Lord of the Rings Symphony. She has appeared at the Winter Olympics, the Nobel Peace Prize concert, and she’s on the biggest-selling film soundtrack of all time, “Titanic”.

Sissel has already received numerous awards and Grammy nominations.
