Kristin Holm (1965) studied musicology at the University of Oslo from 1986-1991, composition at The Norwegian State Academy of Music from 1988-1991, piano with Elisabeth Klein from 1987-1990, and composition with Antonio Bibalo.
Stylistically, her works have developed from an experimental style towards something more of a 'new-friendly' style, and she prefers working with musical drama to working as a composer for the concert hall. She was raised and still resides in Oslo, Norway.
"Art is a barometer of the spirit of time" says Kristin Holm, and thus finds it natural to be engaged with the art growing out from the society of which she is a part. Because she has a multi-artistic personality it is natural for her to combine different kinds of art.
