Call for scores: The Vancouver Miniaturist Ensemble

The Vancouver Miniaturist Ensemble is requesting submissions for soloist or small ensemble. Pieces must be miniature works but can be of any duration. Miniature in this case meaning comprised of 100 notes or less, as defined by our sister ensemble, the New York Miniaturist Ensemble www.nyme.org.
ELIGIBILITY: Composers of Contemporary Art Music of any Age or Nationality are eligible.
INSTRUMENTATION: Solo and small ensemble works recommended. Instruments available are soprano voice, clarinet and/or bass clarinet, alto or soprano saxophone, flute or alto flute or piccolo, classical guitar, French horn, percussion, piano, violin, viola, cello, and double bass.
DEADLINE: Since programming decisions for concerts are being made year-round, works may be submitted at any time. But for possible inclusion in our upcoming December 2007 concert please submit by November 15, 2007.

Please submit by email unless impossible to do so. Send scores as pdf files and recordings, if available, as mp3's.

composer's name, contact info, biography, list of works, etc.
program notes, if available, including the work's performance history duration
