The 2008 Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival at MASS MoCA (Massachusetts, USA, July 8-27, 2008) is a residency for composers and performers of contemporary music at one of the foremost US contemporary art museums. The Bang on a Can Summer Festival is dedicated entirely to adventurous contemporary music. We will write it. We will perform it. We will think about it and we will talk about it. Faculty includes Bang on a Can founders Michael Gordon, David Lang, and Julia Wolfe, the Bang on a Can All-Stars plus special guest artist TERRY RILEY!
