Førde Folk Music Festival 2006
Førde Folk music Festival is the biggest festival for folk/trad/world music in Scandinavia, presenting 80 acts and 250 artists from all over the world for about 30 000 visitors each year. The festival's profile is mainly accoustic/traditional music and dance. Førde is a small town situated in beautiful surroundings in the fjord region on the western coast of Norway, about 150 km north of Bergen.
