Oslo Sinfonietta and POING plays in Warszawa

Celebrating the anniversary ok Fréderic Chopin, Oslo Sinfonietta and the ensemble POING visit Warsaw Autumn with four re-composed mazurkas, "korrespondenzer", commissioned by the festival. The composers are Maja Ratkje, Ørjan Matre, Eivind Buene and Christian Eggen, while the ensemble POING improvises interludes. The accordionist Frode Haltli is also soloist in "Emergence" by the English composer Sam Hayden.
