Mela Performing Arts Festival 2011

The largest Pakistani cultural festival outside Pakistan.

Oslo Mela 2011 explodes into Rådhusplassen from July 29 - 31 with a huge programe of live entertainment, family activities. Thousands will be present at what is expected to be one of the largest festivals of the year!

Mela gives visitors the chance to celebrate a large variety culture in Oslo in a vibrant festival atmostphere. The City Square will be bristling with activity on the day with live music and dance, readings, fashion, dance, food stalls. There is a classical and experimental music, circus acts, live stret stunts, and visual arts performances.

The Mela musical line up includes a selection of both traditional performances from a variety of countries, alongside more modern and the latest urban grooves.
