Concerts - Master classes - Panel debate - Opera
We have invited eight former prize winners to soloist challenges with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, solo concerts at Oscarshall and master classes at The Norwegian National Opera and Ballet. One prize winner plays the leading role in the National Opera’s new production of Hayden’s opera “L’isolata disabitata”.
Together, these events form a small song festival which we complement with a panel debate on new audiences in Oslo. We hope that “New Voices 2012” can be a kick-off in realising the artistic potential we find in the competition’s big family of singers, and that our audience will appreciate a reunion with the talents from the competition.
