SKRUK (Sunnmøre Kristelige Ungdomskor/Sunnmøre Christian Youth Choir) is, with its characteristic sound and repertoire, recognized as one of the leading choirs in Norway. During the past 30 years its members have toured Norway regurarly, headed by its founder and conductor, Per Oddvar Hildre, giving concerts in hundreds of churches throughout the country, and performing at the most important music festivals in Norway. The choir has appeared on national TV many times, and its recordings are frequently being played on Norwegian radio. SKRUK has also toured Sweden, the USA, Ecuador and Azerbaijan. The 48 members come from different parts of Norway; however, most of them are connected to the Sunnmøre region on the west coast.
