The Festival of North Norway, which is the biggest and most important arts event in the land of the midnight sun, each summer offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy a rich and varied menu of cultural fare. Primarily a forum designed to showcase the cultural life of the far north in all its diversity and to bring it to the attention of a wider audience, the nine-day festival aims to foster new ideas and encourage experimentation, while reflecting a spirit of optimism and initiative.
