Hordaland musikkråd (The Norwegian Music Council Hordaland) is an organisation working for the interests of the music environment in the county of Hordaland. They are also the county division of Musikkens Studieforbund (the Study Association of Music).

Tasks are: to be a point of contact and a co-operation unit for the music environment in Hordaland, partly through liaising with governmental bodies; to function as a service centre and a centre of competence for the Hordaland music industry; to work as an arena for co-operation, distribute Funding for Adult Education to music programmes in Hordaland; to be the local contact point for the governmental funding programmes such as VO and Frifond Musikk; to release information concerning the different funding possibilities; and to offer educational courses in music and related fields.
