Tellé was originally started back in 1995 as a small independent record store that went by the name of Primitive Records. After a successful festival in 1997, the owner of Primitive records Mikal Telle decided to start the label Tellé records. Tellé's catalogue includes debut releases of artists such as Röyksopp, Annie, Datarock, Ralph Myerz & the Jack Herren Band and Kings of Convenience. Today Tellé is more than a record label. Tellé is also responsible for club nights, concerts and festivals. Tellé is also a management.
