Over the years, Hole in the Sky has established itself as one of the most important underground festivals in Europe, specializing in metal music. The primary goal is to shed light on quality metal within all the aspects of the genre, and at the same time present this very special art to a wider audience in an accessible way. The festival also seeks to challenge the framework of the genre, by including alternative art forms such as photography and performance art.

Hole in the Sky has a strong focus on being able to present exclusive concert experiences. The roster boasts classic acts such as Danzig, Satyricon, Obituary, Enslaved and Kreator. The festival is in its seventh season this year and broke all records last year with a total of 3000 tickets sold.
