Trondheim Jazz Orchestra is a large ensemble playing jazz/improvised music. Musical style is ranging from traditional jazz to contemporary music like the work of norwegian composers Jon Balke, Erlend Skomsvoll and Eirik Hegdal. This unique orchestra has done very successful projects with Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Joshua Redman etc.. TJO has performed at Molde Int. Jazz Festival every summer since 2000 and is one of the most interesting large ensembles of Norway today.
