Educated as a composer, oboe player and organist. His career as a professional musician during 40 years includes the profession as Cathedral Organist in Tönsberg and Stavanger. His considerable production as a composer includes symphonies, oratorios, concertos, chamber music and a considerable amount of music for choir and organ.
