Roger Vigulf
Solo Clarinetist, Composer

Roger Vigulf started playing clarinet at Ålesund music school, at the age of ten played his first concert in Oslo University Hall, at the age of twelve he became the youngest member of the Norwegian Youth Band. Roger Vigulf has studies from Buskerud Music concervatory (with H.Bergersen), and a Bachelor degree from the Norwegian Music Academy (with Prof.R.Kjelstrup). Further studies with Lee Morgan in Copenhagen. Roger Vigulf continuously plays with chamber orchestras and symphony orchestras. In 2008 he was soloist with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra and Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra.In 2008, CD recording with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra and engagement at the Is Arti contemporary festival in Kaunas. Engagement at the Westport Art festival in Northen Ireland. Roger Vigulf is clarinettist in Vestfold Sinfonietta, Disobedient Ensemble (Lithuania)and as composer, his music has been performed in Bosnia-Herzegovina, USA, Lithuania, Netherland, Sweden and Norway. In may 2007, his piece "7 Disobedint Birds" was recorded live form Lithuania National Philharmonic Hall by the Lithuanian National Radio Corp.April 5th 2011, Mr.Vigulf was invited to the Norwegian Castle when the Lithuanian president Dalia Grybauskaité was visiting Oslo.
