Petter Wettre since the early nineties mark as one of the most important players on the Norwegian jazz scene, and is one of the most virtuosic saxophonists we have in Norway today.

Wettre is known to play jazz that grooves, although the musical expression is more avant garde than the swing and bop tradition.

Wettre studied music at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he graduated with honors in 1992.Han got her breakthrough in 1995 when he as NRK's ​​representative played with EBU Orchestra in Prague.
