Ingrid Andsnes
Pianist

Ingrid Andsnes has studied with Joan Havill, Jiri Hlinka and Leif Ove Andsnes. She was the recipient of the Janacek prize at the Rudolf Firkusny competition in Prague in 2003, and has earlier won prizes in Norwegian Young Pianists Competition and the Sparre Olsen competition. Andsnes has received several scholarships and grants. Ingrid Andsnes has been highly acclaimed for her performances onat venues in both Norway and abroad, including the Dvorak hall in Rudolfinum, Prague, Universitetets Aula in Oslo, Troldsalen (Grieg's home) in Bergen, and Baroniet Rosendal. She has also had engagements at several festivals, including Oslo Chamber Music Festival. She has played live NRK (Norwegian National Broadcasting), both television and radio.
