Petter Frost Fadnes
Saxophonist
Petter Frost Fadnes was born in Stavanger. He has worked regularly as a saxophone player since the age of 16, performing within everything from heavy metal to ska, improvised music and jazz. In 1996 Petter moved to Leeds to start a BA degree in Jazz at Leeds College of Music.
After finishing a Master Degree (MMus) in Jazz Performance, Petter was offered a teaching post at Leeds College of Music, where he is currently Course Leader for MA Music Programmes. In 2004 Petter graduated from the University of Leeds as the first ever with a PhD in Performance.
