Malgorzata Jaworska is a classical pianist of Polish nationality. She graduated from the 2nd Degree State School of Music in Cracow. She later gained her MA at the Academy of Music in Cracow, after studies under Professor Ludwik Stefanski. She has performed in many countries and taken part in a number of festivals. She has also recorded many CDs.
Her repertoire includes works ranging from Bach to contemporary music, and reviews have especially emphasized her interpretation of Frédéric Chopin's compositions. Jaworska has lived in Norway since 1984, and she gradually added piano works by Norwegian composer Thomas D.A. Tellefsen to her repertoire.Malgorzata Jaworska gets a lot of honor for the renaissance of T. Tellefsen. She has performed his compositions in Cracow and Warsaw and in many towns in Norway. In 2006 she participated in the Polish premiere performance of the Piano Concerto no. 1 in G minor op. 8 by Tellefsen. She has also recorded four CDs with the complete piano works by Thomas Tellefsen (World Premiere Recording)that were dedicated to HM Queen Sonja to commemorate HM The Queen Sonja of Norway's seventieth birthday anniversary on 4 July 2007.
The pianist played also piano works by T.D.A. Tellefsen and F. Chopin for HRH Crown Prince Haakon and HRH Crown Princess Mette-Marit in Arendal Old City Hall during the royal couple's visit in the Norwegian region Aust-Agder in 2010.
Malgorzata Jaworska was a member of the Honorary Comittee of the Chopin 2010 Celebrations in Norway at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and played Final Concert of the Chopin Year Celebrations in Norway at the Polish Embassy in Oslo. (1 March 2011). She was awarded the prize "Outstanding Pole" in Norway 2013 in the culture category.
