Martin Rane Bauck
Composer

Martin Rane Bauck (b. 1988) has studied composition with, amongst others, professor Bjørn Kruse at the Norwegian Academy of Music (NMH), and with professor Gérard Pesson at the Paris Conservatory (CNSMDP). Bauck writes mainly chamber music, where the differents alloys of tones and noise are central, but also music for orchestra, theater, dance etc. His music has been performed in Norway, Denmark, Finland and France, amongst others on the Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival, Oslo Chamber Music Festival and Young Nordic Music (UNM). Bauck is active in the Norwegian music life, being board representative at UNM, New Music Composers Society and NMH, and in 2010 he founded the ensemble Aksiom together with the composers Martin Ødegaard and Kai Grinde Myrann and nine musicians.
